Job Summary

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will need to communicate with the team and stakeholders (including the customer) to understand the requirements and guarantee that we are delivering software that meets the customer's expectations. You will work in a dynamic team to provide web services solutions on a platform, feature development, and maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Actively support the development teams;
• Mentor less experienced team members;
• Work in a dynamic team to provide web services solutions;
• Development of a new platform and features considering scalability, performance, and security requirements;
• Participation in the complete cycle of development from requirements refinement, development, and testing;
• Contribute to technical/architectural discussions/decisions with customers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with development in Python versions 2 and 3;
• Experience with Django and Flask frameworks;
• Experience with pyTest;
• Experience with Linux environments;
• Experience with modeling, producing, and consuming web services-based APIs (RESTful);
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience with Python 2;
• Experience with Salesforce integration via APIs;
• Experience with Docker;
• Experience with Jenkins;
• Experience with OpenShift;
• Knowledge of Agile development (e.g. using Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.);
• Familiarity with principles of distributed systems.
