We are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy compliance professional who is passionate about emerging technologies and groundbreaking financial solutions. In this role, you’ll be deeply embedded with our product development teams, working side by side to anticipate regulatory challenges, drive compliance strategies, and support the evolution of cutting-edge financial products.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Act in the regulatory front related to SCFI (Credit, Financing, and Investment Company), ensuring compliance with Central Bank regulations applicable to financial institutions.
- Collaborate in the regulatory transition process to a Type 3 Conglomerate, participating in the definition and execution of strategies for institutional restructuring and operational alignment.
- Support the execution and monitoring of the Regulatory Compliance Adjustment Plan, ensuring that obligations, deadlines, and responsibilities are properly met.
- Assist in the implementation of internal controls, governance practices, and reporting routines, including capital requirements, risk management, and compliance with COSIF standards.
- Work closely with the Finance, Legal, Risk, and Product teams to adapt policies and operational flows to the regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory updates from the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) and other supervisory bodies, providing strategic guidance and ensuring fast and effective organizational responses.
- Identify compliance gaps in the context of financial institutions and support the development and execution of corrective action plans.
- Promote a compliance culture and continuous improvement, contributing to training, internal development, and alignment regarding the specific obligations of entities classified as SCFI.
What You Need To Succeed:
- A university degree in a related field.
- Relevant experience in the Payment Institution market, SCFI (Credit, Financing and Investment Companies), and Type 3 conglomerates.
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
- Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with emerging technologies.
- Experience applying Artificial Intelligence in Compliance processes.
- Familiarity with COSIF regulations applicable to Type 3 conglomerates.
- Experience with authorization processes for financial institutions is considered a plus.
- Solid understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to SCFIs.
