Relationship Manager - Energy

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

 Our team is global, diverse, and based in 5 different countries gathering more than 10 different nationalities and languages. We have grown significantly in the last few months and are now looking for a Senior Relationship Manager with wide commercial experience, derivatives knowledge, and a passion for energy markets to join our growing team. The job purpose is to expand the OTC derivatives business in the LATAM energy markets by prospecting new customers, developing business with current customers and marketing risk management solutions.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Prospect new customers.


• Identify, prospect, and consolidate a significant client base in the energy space including but not limited to airlines, transportation companies, fuel importers, oil refineries, biofuel producers, and E&P companies.


• Develop and expand business with current clients and prospects.


• Understand client’s / prospect’s physical exposure to energy commodities.


• Identify opportunities for clients to manage physical and financial exposure with listed and OTC risk management products. 


•  Develop, present and execute tailor-made OTC strategies for customers, in accordance with risk and portfolio analysis for each of them.


• Execute market analysis and trainings to support the development of the business. 


• Maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects by proactively delivering trading opportunities to capitalize on price changes as well as sharing fundamental analysis that may impact client’s physical exposure.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S. or higher in Administration or any science, with strong academic performance


• Experience in Strategy, Planning, Business Development and Sales for the energy industry


• Financial Derivatives proficiency


• Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus


• Physical and basis trading, local and global commodity S&D, market arbitrages and correlations


• Understanding of the regulatory environment of the energy market in South American countries


• Knowledge about commodity, FX, and risk management tools


• Experience selling OTC/ Derivatives products
