This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista Funcional SAP IS-U CCS (Billing) Senior based in Brazil.
This is a senior functional role focused on SAP IS-U billing processes within complex Utilities environments such as energy, gas, and sanitation. You will act as a key bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring the correct design, configuration, and evolution of Meter-to-Cash processes. The role involves supporting application maintenance (AMS), analyzing incidents, and delivering continuous improvements across billing systems. You will work closely with ABAP developers, business stakeholders, and support teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and validated solutions. Strong involvement in testing and validation cycles ensures end-to-end quality across implementations. This is a highly collaborative and analytical role within a fast-paced consulting environment, where your expertise directly impacts billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for supporting and evolving SAP IS-U billing processes, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement across Utilities operations:
- Provide AMS support for billing processes, analyzing and resolving incidents and production issues.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements and new developments.
- Configure and improve SAP IS-U billing processes within complex Utilities environments.
- Ensure end-to-end Meter-to-Cash integration across SAP IS-U Billing (CCS), FI-CA, and Device Management (DM).
- Prepare detailed functional specifications for ABAP development teams.
- Perform unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
- Manage master data processes such as contracts, contractual accounts, and installations.
Requirements:
You should bring strong experience in SAP IS-U functional analysis with deep knowledge of billing and Utilities processes:
- Solid experience as a Functional Analyst in SAP IS-U CCS (Billing).
- Strong knowledge of billing schemas, tariff determination, pricing, mass billing, and billing simulations.
- Experience working in AMS (application maintenance) and continuous improvement environments.
- Ability to design and write functional specifications for ABAP development.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders in complex SAP landscapes.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, with ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Experience in Utilities (energy, gas, or sanitation) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to SAP IS-U implementation, rollout, or transformation projects is an advantage.
