This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista Jurídico (Mediação Trabalhista) - SEM OAB based in Brazil.
This is a fully remote legal opportunity focused on labor dispute mediation and negotiated settlements.
You will analyze legal cases and identify opportunities for amicable resolution, supporting efficient and strategic outcomes.
The role combines legal analysis, negotiation, communication, and close interaction with parties, attorneys, and internal teams.
You will manage negotiations from initial contact through agreement or closure, while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
The position is suited to someone who is analytical, persuasive, empathetic, and comfortable handling sensitive or conflict-driven situations.
You will work in a structured legal environment where organization, responsiveness, and results are important to successful mediation outcomes.
Accountabilities
Analyze legal cases and demands to identify matters with potential for labor mediation and amicable resolution.
Contact parties, attorneys, and other stakeholders to initiate and conduct settlement discussions.
Lead and follow up on negotiations with the objective of reaching mutually acceptable agreements.
Prepare and present settlement proposals in accordance with established parameters and procedures.
Review procedural documents and case information to support negotiation strategies and decision-making.
Identify opportunities for settlement and appropriately route matters according to internal procedures.
Record and continuously update negotiation activities, proposals, outcomes, and relevant information in internal systems.
Monitor negotiations through to the conclusion of an agreement or closure of the matter.
Track deadlines, pending actions, and other requirements related to mediation processes.
Collaborate with legal teams and other internal areas involved in negotiation and settlement activities.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Law degree or holding a Law degree without an active OAB registration — mandatory.
Previous experience with litigation, particularly labor litigation, is desirable.
Experience with legal routines, negotiation, mediation, or conciliation.
Ability to analyze and interpret legal proceedings, publications, and court notifications.
Experience interacting and negotiating with clients, attorneys, counterparties, or other stakeholders.
Previous experience handling settlement agreements and amicable resolution discussions is desirable.
Familiarity with judicial systems such as PJe, e-SAJ, eProc, or similar platforms.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including filters, tables, and basic formulas.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Negotiation and argumentation skills, combined with active listening and empathy.
Emotional intelligence and composure when dealing with conflicts or sensitive situations.
A conciliatory mindset and ability to develop practical solutions.
