This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Cisco Route Switch Architect. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving infrastructure projects for high-profile clients. Your expertise in Advanced Cisco Routing and Switching, alongside SD-WAN technologies, will be pivotal in guiding delivery teams while ensuring the successful deployment of services. You will also contribute to the development of new methodologies, driving improvements in the technical capabilities of the organization. Accountabilities
- Develop network planning, design, and implementation services
- Act as a pre/post sales consultant for Enterprise clients
- Create Low Level and High-Level designs for networks
- Translate business outcomes into technical solutions
- Provide guidance and support to delivery engineers during projects
- Review client deliverables to enhance quality
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct research on networking products and services
- Assess technical efforts required for solutions
- Serve as an escalation point for network troubleshooting
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN network design and implementation
- Extensive experience with large scale WAN and campus networking
- Consulting skills at all organizational levels
- Expertise in SD-WAN technologies, particularly Cisco Viptela
- Experience with SASE/SSE and cloud deployments integration
- Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing protocols
- Background in Hybrid Cloud network deployments is a plus
- Experience with logical design models and network automation
- Knowledge of networking and security protocols
- Certifications from industry-leading network products are preferred
