This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Claims Support Specialist based in Brazil.


As a Claims Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting mortgage servicing operations by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of claims-related processes. Working closely with internal teams, vendors, and industry partners, you will help maximize positive outcomes for homeowners while maintaining compliance with industry standards. This position combines analytical problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to audits, training initiatives, and operational reporting while helping resolve escalated issues and maintaining data integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with mortgage servicing or claims experience who enjoy working independently while making a meaningful impact across the organization.


Accountabilities:



  • Prepare and submit claims for acquired and sold properties in accordance with established processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct monthly process control audits, vendor audits, and system data integrity reviews, providing findings and trend analysis to management.

  • Research claims, prepare documentation for internal and external audits, and support compliance initiatives.

  • Resolve operational escalations within the designated scope of responsibility while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members and contribute to maintaining department procedures, job aids, and process documentation.

  • Draft professional written communications to internal stakeholders and support continuous process improvements while performing additional responsibilities as needed.


Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in default mortgage servicing, mortgage insurance claims, or a related legal environment.

  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing practices, claims processing, foreclosure guidelines, and industry regulations.

  • Experience using the LPS-MSP Mortgage Servicing Platform is required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality and high standards of accuracy.

  • Previous leadership or team mentoring experience is preferred.
