The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Poker Regional Manager to drive WPT Global’s operations and growth initiatives across Latin America (excluding Mexico and Brazil). This is a pivotal, remote opportunity to significantly contribute to our market presence, develop and execute strategic initiatives, and ensure WPT Global thrives within the LATAM poker landscape. You will be instrumental in our regional business, focusing on strategy, regulatory adherence, marketing, and business development.

• Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in the online poker industry, with deep knowledge of player behaviour, competitive dynamics, and market growth strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of the LATAM gaming market (excluding Mexico and Brazil), including regulatory frameworks, player preferences, and regional nuances.
• Proven track record driving strategic initiatives and achieving ambitious business outcomes.
• Strong business development and negotiation skills with the capability to secure beneficial partnerships.
• Expertise in developing effective marketing strategies specifically tailored to online poker audiences.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset, committed to exceeding performance targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Adaptability to thrive within a fast-paced, evolving industry environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for WPT Global’s poker business in LATAM (excluding Mexico and Brazil), aligning with our global objectives and adapting to local market nuances.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives to significantly grow our player base and revenue within the LATAM region.
• Ensure compliance with relevant LATAM gaming and regulatory requirements, working closely with our legal and compliance teams.
• Oversee tailored marketing campaigns for LATAM audiences, boosting WPT Global's brand visibility and player engagement.
• Forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local payment providers, media partners, and industry influencers across the region.
• Contribute to regional poker budget planning, forecasting revenue, and achieving profitability targets.
• Provide critical market insights and feedback to our global product development teams, ensuring our offerings meet the unique needs of LATAM players.
• Champion an exceptional player experience for LATAM users, prioritising customer satisfaction and retention.
