Accountabilities:
As a Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve analytics platforms that enable teams to explore data, monitor performance, and make informed decisions. You will combine engineering expertise with analytical thinking to deliver reliable and user-friendly data experiences.
- Build scalable analytics applications and interactive data visualization solutions.
- Develop backend services and data processing pipelines using Python.
- Create modern frontend interfaces and data experiences using TypeScript.
- Transform complex business datasets into clear dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to define analytics requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Improve data quality, performance, accessibility, and usability across analytics platforms.
- Work across frontend and backend components to deliver complete analytics products.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Take ownership of solutions from initial design through implementation and optimization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience building production software and data-driven applications. You should be comfortable working independently, solving ambiguous problems, and creating high-quality analytics experiences in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional experience developing production software with Python.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and modern frontend development.
- Experience building analytics platforms, business intelligence applications, or data products.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, analytics workflows, and structured datasets.
- Experience creating interactive data visualizations and user-friendly dashboards.
- Ability to work across both backend services and frontend applications.
- Experience consuming APIs and integrating data sources.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Regular experience using AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions as part of daily development workflows.
Nice to have:
- Experience with visualization libraries such as D3.js, Observable, Vega, Plotly, Recharts, or ECharts.
- Experience working with SQL and analytical databases.
- Background building internal tools or business intelligence platforms.
- Cloud experience with platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
