Deployment Project Manager

The Deployment Project Manager will oversee the successful implementation of medium to large-scale telecommunications projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, business objectives, and operational standards. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing resources, and maintaining project performance throughout the deployment lifecycle.

• Lead the end-to-end execution of complex deployment projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.


• Manage customer project activities, acting as the primary point of contact for project status, milestones, risks, and resolutions.


• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, sales, finance, suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.


• Develop and maintain project forecasts, schedules, action plans, and progress reports while identifying and addressing potential deviations.


• Ensure project financial objectives are achieved, including cost control, revenue recognition, and service margin targets.


• Support pre-sales activities by providing project management expertise and deployment insights when required.


• Translate customer requirements into structured project plans, executable tasks, and measurable milestones.


• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, regulatory, supply chain, and operational risks that may impact deployment activities.


• Facilitate communication between internal teams, external partners, and customers to maintain alignment throughout project execution.


• Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on optimizing project management practices and deployment efficiency.


• Support the development and coordination of project teams to ensure effective resource allocation and execution.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior project management professional with strong experience in telecommunications deployments and the ability to manage complex technical projects in international environments. This role requires excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

• Proven experience managing telecommunications deployment projects, particularly involving fiber networks, DWDM, or similar network infrastructure solutions.


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electrical, Civil), Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.


• PMP certification is highly preferred.


• Strong customer focus with the ability to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.


• Excellent planning, scheduling, coordination, and resource management skills.


• Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and make sound decisions.


• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.


• Experience managing outsourced resources and understanding outsourcing methodologies.


• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while aligning with broader business objectives.


• Proficiency with common business software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).


• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills (written and spoken) are preferred and considered a strong advantage for international collaboration.
