Accountabilities:
The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving backend solutions while ensuring technical quality, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
- Develop medium-complexity technical solutions with autonomy, applying backend technologies and engineering best practices.
- Understand existing backend architecture and contribute to maintenance, improvements, and evolution of system components and features.
- Implement automated tests, including unit and integration tests, ensuring code coverage and expected behavior.
- Document development processes, technical decisions, and workflows through version control and documentation tools.
- Collaborate with development teams on technical and business problem-solving, participating in software design discussions.
- Ensure software quality by applying principles such as Clean Code and SOLID, along with established engineering standards.
- Support junior developers by sharing technical knowledge, answering questions, and helping improve team capabilities.
- Analyze and detail requirements, working with different stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business expectations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a backend professional with solid software engineering experience, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with modern development practices and cloud technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Advanced knowledge of backend frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or similar technologies.
- Practical experience implementing unit tests and using mocking tools.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of software architecture concepts, including REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with application security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
- Experience working with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or SQS, along with knowledge of Serverless concepts.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud environments.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to improve development workflows and optimize code.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate technical concepts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
