Accountabilities:
The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving digital solutions while ensuring system reliability, performance, and technical excellence. The main responsibilities include:
- Developing and evolving robust, scalable applications using Java and modern software development practices.
- Designing and implementing solutions based on service-oriented architectures (SOA) and microservices principles.
- Developing and integrating REST APIs, ensuring scalability, resilience, and efficient communication between services.
- Investigating and resolving technical issues through log analysis, debugging, and code reviews.
- Monitoring incident resolution processes and ensuring effective communication regarding progress and outcomes.
- Collaborating with internal teams and business partners to accelerate problem resolution and deliver improvements.
- Creating permanent solutions to prevent recurring incidents and improve system stability.
- Performing technical validations and tests before production deployments.
- Executing production releases and deployment management processes when required.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Developing and optimizing monitoring services and dashboards to ensure system availability and performance.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have advanced Java development expertise, strong knowledge of distributed architectures, and the ability to work independently in complex technology environments. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications with Java.
- Advanced knowledge of Java Spring Boot for building scalable web applications and services.
- Solid experience with Java EE for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Experience implementing and integrating microservices architectures and SOA principles.
- Experience developing REST APIs and designing scalable, resilient, and decoupled systems.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including technologies such as Hibernate and JPA.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience implementing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
