This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor React Native Pleno - Foco em IA based in Brazil.
This is a mid-level software engineering role focused on evolving a mobile application built with React Native while expanding AI-powered tools and automations.
You will work across JavaScript and TypeScript to build performant, maintainable, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
The role also involves integrating APIs, AI models, agents, chatbots, and internal automation solutions.
You will help design context, instructions, validation rules, and guardrails that make AI-powered solutions more predictable and secure.
AI will also be part of your own engineering workflow, accelerating coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and delivery.
You will collaborate closely with UX/UI, backend, product, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and evolve features for a mobile application using React Native, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a focus on usability, performance, scalability, and clean code.
- Build well-structured mobile interfaces and contribute to componentization and the overall organization of the application.
- Implement and maintain navigation flows using technologies such as React Navigation.
- Integrate applications with APIs, backend services, and external platforms, ensuring reliable data communication.
- Work with application state management and caching solutions such as Zustand, TanStack React Query, and MMKV.
- Implement and maintain WebView flows and integrations with native mobile modules when required.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices related to quality, security, maintainability, and version control.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including debugging and troubleshooting production incidents.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate designs into consistent and high-quality mobile experiences.
- Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders throughout planning, development, testing, and delivery.
- Develop and evolve AI-powered tools, automations, agents, and chatbots, integrating applications, APIs, services, and AI models.
- Define and structure the context used by AI agents to perform their tasks, including instructions, validation criteria, and execution rules.
- Implement appropriate guardrails and constraints to improve the predictability, safety, and control of AI agent behavior.
- Help organize and technically evolve existing internal tools, automations, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Apply appropriate practices for versioning, quality assurance, security, and operational control across internally developed tools and automations.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and software delivery.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with React Native development.
- Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Practical experience developing mobile interfaces with a strong understanding of usability and performance considerations.
- Experience with navigation patterns in React Native applications.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs or similar application services.
- Knowledge of application state management and caching strategies.
- Experience using Git and established version-control workflows.
- Familiarity with build pipelines and CI/CD practices for software delivery.
- Knowledge of unit and/or integration testing.
- Ability to independently debug applications and investigate technical problems.
- Understanding of mobile development best practices, clean code, componentization, and maintainable architecture.
- Interest in or practical experience consuming AI models and AI-powered services.
- Familiarity with AI concepts such as context management, instructions, execution rules, validation, and guardrails.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Ability to build automations and internal tools using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with an interest in continuously learning new technologies.
