This role is responsible for leading the evolution of a digital account-opening journey designed for underage customers.
You will own the end-to-end registration funnel, from initial intent through successful account activation.
The position combines product strategy, data analysis, user discovery, experimentation, and journey optimization.
A key focus will be identifying abandonment drivers and removing the most significant conversion barriers.
You will balance growth and customer experience with security, compliance, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements.
The role requires close collaboration with Design, Engineering, Data, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Customer Support teams.
It is an opportunity to shape a complex, high-impact product journey involving both young users and their legal guardians.
Accountabilities:
- Own the end-to-end performance of the Underage account-opening funnel, from registration intent through account activation, establishing a clear view of conversion and performance drivers.
- Map, measure, and investigate losses throughout the customer journey, identifying abandonment causes, operational errors, UX friction, and eligibility constraints.
- Conduct product discovery with underage users and their legal guardians, taking into account the dual nature of the journey and the different roles each participant may have.
- Define product strategy, roadmap, and initiative prioritization based on business impact, behavioral data, customer feedback, and regulatory considerations.
- Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Customer Support to design and deliver scalable product solutions.
- Structure and monitor experiments, cohort analyses, and key indicators related to conversion, activation, completion time, and registration quality.
- Ensure product improvements comply with applicable requirements for children and adolescents, including data protection, consent, legal representation, and fraud-prevention considerations.
- Communicate product decisions, insights, learnings, and results clearly to executive stakeholders and cross-functional partner teams.
Requirements:
- Strong track record in digital products focused on funnels, conversion optimization, and customer journey improvement.
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to go beyond dashboards, formulate hypotheses, investigate root causes, and translate data into product decisions.
- Experience with account opening, financial onboarding, KYC, registration processes, or regulated products is highly desirable.
- Candidates without financial-services experience should demonstrate a strong track record of improving complex funnels and the ability to quickly learn regulatory and business contexts.
- Solid product management expertise across discovery, problem definition, prioritization, experimentation, metrics, journey design, and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to align multidisciplinary teams with different objectives and constraints.
- Ownership mindset, strong focus on solving real customer and business problems, and discipline in measuring outcomes and continuously improving performance.
- Experience with products serving families, children, or adolescents is a plus.
- Background in fintechs, banks, payment companies, or other regulated businesses is desirable.
- Knowledge of LGPD as applied to children's and adolescents' data, ECA, and journeys involving consent or legal representation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and user research tools is a plus.
