This role combines advanced analytics, financial modeling, and project management to optimize promotional discount investments.
You will be responsible for explaining discount performance, improving B2C projections, and generating insights that support profitable business decisions.
A key focus will be developing predictive models that connect discount levels with GMV to identify opportunities for margin and growth optimization.
You will also co-lead the evolution of a predictive Discount Control Tower, improving automation and visibility across investment indicators.
The position requires close collaboration with multifunctional squads and stakeholders across planning, performance, finance, and commercial areas.
You will bring structure and analytical rigor to both short- and long-term discount planning and decision-making.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an analytical and autonomous professional looking to have direct impact on business performance.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure continuous visibility and explainability of discount performance, analyzing deviations and generating strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Lead B2C discount projections across brands, categories, and channels, ensuring accurate forecasts while considering the different variables and effects associated with promotional spending.
- Lead advanced modeling initiatives focused on discounts and GMV to identify opportunities for margin optimization and sustainable growth.
- Co-lead the development and continuous improvement of a predictive Discount Control Tower, automating alerts and monitoring of investment indicators.
- Lead Discount Squad meetings, ensuring agendas remain aligned with business priorities and discussions result in clear, actionable plans.
- Coordinate multifunctional planning and monitoring routines, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and effective execution of agreed actions.
- Generate analytical and operational insights that improve discount investment decisions across short- and long-term planning horizons.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of SQL or GCP SQL, with autonomy to create queries and extract and manipulate databases.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the autonomy to manage initiatives and priorities effectively.
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and data modeling, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with budgetary, financial, or commercial forecasting is desirable.
- Previous experience in Revenue Growth Management (RGM), FP&A, Performance, or Market Planning is desirable.
- Experience facilitating multifunctional meetings or business squads is desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect analytical findings with business priorities.
