This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full-Stack Engineers: Interview on Cybersecurity and CI/CD Pipelines based in Brazil.
This is a paid remote technical interview designed for experienced technology professionals working across full-stack development, application security, and DevOps.
You will share practical insights from your recent engineering projects and day-to-day technical workflows.
The discussion will explore how you integrate cybersecurity practices into CI/CD pipelines without compromising development velocity.
You will also examine hypothetical deployment scenarios and explain how you identify and verify potential vulnerabilities.
The study focuses on real-world engineering decisions, secure application deployment, and threat management in production environments.
Your experience will contribute to research aimed at improving tools and processes for secure software development and deployment.
The engagement is fully remote and structured around a focused technical conversation.
Accountabilities:
- Walk through your approach to integrating security controls and vulnerability checks into CI/CD pipelines, explaining the tools, processes, and decision-making involved.
- Discuss how you identify, assess, and verify application vulnerabilities throughout feature development and deployment, including in production environments.
- Respond to hypothetical technical scenarios involving application security threats and explain how you would investigate, mitigate, and validate potential risks.
- Describe your day-to-day engineering workflow and how you balance feature delivery, development velocity, security requirements, and robust vulnerability verification.
- Share practical examples from recent development, security, or DevOps projects to provide insight into real-world approaches to secure application deployment.
Requirements
- Current experience as a full-stack engineer, application security engineer, DevOps professional, or a closely related technical role.
- Strong practical background in cybersecurity, application security, threat management, and secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience managing, maintaining, or securing CI/CD pipelines and integrating security checks into deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and verification processes, particularly within production application environments.
- Ability to clearly explain technical decisions, engineering workflows, security trade-offs, and approaches to managing threats.
- Recent, hands-on experience owning application features and contributing to secure deployment processes is strongly preferred.
