Information Systems Manager

EdgeUno is seeking a visionary and technically seasoned Information Systems Manager. to lead our Systems Engineering, BSS/OSS, and Data Architecture initiatives across the organization. This role is central to designing and delivering the mission-critical platforms that power EdgeUno’s internal operations and processes.

This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a senior professional with over 10 years of experience in systems architecture, enterprise platforms, data infrastructure, and service provider operations. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of systems engineers, platform and product owners, automation specialists, and data professionals to enable operational excellence, technical scalability, and platform-driven innovation.

Location & Language Requirements

• Native Portuguese speaker (verbal and written).


• Must be based in Latin America


• Preferred time zones: GMT-5, GMT-4, or GMT-6.


• Willingness to relocate to our Uberlândia office is highly desired but not mandatory.

Core Responsibilities

1. Department Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and mentor a high-performance team across Systems Engineering, System Architects, Database, Automation, and Product Ownership roles.


• Define and execute the strategy for scalable, automated, and reliable platforms supporting business operations, BSS/OSS, and customer enablement.


• Establish and enforce standards for systems architecture, process design, integration, and data governance.

2. Systems Architecture & Infrastructure

• Own the evolution and operational integrity of internal system infrastructure, including Windows and Linux-based environments, virtualized workloads, middleware, and shared services.


• Drive modernization and resilience strategies across compute, storage, and services layers in collaboration with Business stakeholders, Cloud and Network teams.


• Oversee system integration and technical architecture of EdgeUno’s backend platforms, including provisioning, service orchestration, and account management systems.

3. BSS/OSS & Platform Enablement

• Manage the design, implementation, and lifecycle of EdgeUno’s Business and Operations Support Systems (BSS/OSS).


• Ensure these platforms are seamlessly integrated into sales, finance, operations, provisioning, service delivery, support, and network operations workflows.


• Collaborate with Product Owners and internal stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.

4. Automation & Systems Integration

• Champion Infrastructure and Systems Automation across provisioning, monitoring, configuration management, and deployment.


• Oversee the design and maintenance of robust APIs and middleware to support internal and third-party integrations.


• Promote standardization, reusability, and orchestration for improved efficiency and governance.

5. Data, Quality & Insights

• Guide data architecture, governance, and quality assurance practices across internal platforms.


• Work closely with data science, AI, finance, and commercial teams to ensure systems produce accurate, reliable data for decision-making and reporting.


• Support the evolution of self-service capabilities and automation in data ingestion, transformation, and validation.

6. Collaboration & Alignment

• Partner closely with the Cloud Infrastructure, Network Engineering, IT, Security, and Product teams to ensure cross-domain alignment.


• Work with the executive team on business continuity, capacity planning, and future-state platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.


• 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, enterprise infrastructure, or platform engineering, including 6+ years in leadership roles.


• Proven expertise in managing large-scale internal systems for service providers, cloud companies, or telecom environments.


• Deep understanding of BSS/OSS systems, including provisioning, rating, billing, SAP ERP, Zoho CRM, and service management.


• Hands-on experience with systems automation, DevOps pipelines, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.), and IaC tooling (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).


• Familiarity with systems integration strategies, RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems architecture.


• Strong project management, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills.


• Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.


• Previous experience in telecom, hosting, datacenter, or infrastructure service providers is a plus

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a Telecom, ISP, or cloud service provider organization.


• Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL, TOGAF, and ISO 27001.


• Background in managing System Architects, System Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts in platform-oriented environments.
