Accountabilities
As an Integration Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that connect enterprise systems while ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of integration flows between ERP platforms and connected business systems.
- Design, develop, and configure integration workflows using iPaaS platforms.
- Build and consume REST-based APIs and interface services to enable system connectivity.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization between source and target systems.
- Create and maintain integration documentation, technical specifications, configurations, and deployment artifacts.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing processes.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, investigate defects, and resolve performance challenges across multiple systems.
- Monitor production integrations, analyze logs and alerts, and identify root causes of operational issues.
- Implement enhancements and fixes to improve integration stability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Follow integration standards, security practices, and technical best practices throughout solution delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a strong background in integration engineering, software development, or business systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and work across complex environments.
- Experience in business analysis, software engineering, integration engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Workato, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and system connectivity principles.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, and data transformation processes.
- Basic scripting experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, API keys, and JWT.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze issues across multiple platforms.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to new tools, platforms, and business models.
- Nice to have: Experience with NetSuite, e-commerce integrations, ETL tools, databases such as Oracle, SQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Nice to have: Experience building AI automation solutions using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
