We are looking for a highly skilled Mid-level Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong emphasis on Accessibility (A11Y) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure that our digital products and services are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Your expertise in automation, particularly using Java, will be instrumental in developing robust testing frameworks and executing comprehensive testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with testing initiatives on web and mobile applications, ensuring compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ADA standards.
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java and relevant tools to improve efficiency in accessibility testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product designers, to integrate accessibility best practices throughout the development cycle.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to accessibility and automation.
Qualifications:
Experience in quality assurance, with a specific focus on accessibility testing.
Strong expertise in WCAG guidelines and ADA compliance standards.
Proven experience in automation testing using Java and familiarity with related frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Proficiency in accessibility testing tools and techniques (e.g., Axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Outstanding communication.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, etc.) or related fields.
Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern web development frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices that integrate accessibility testing.
