Operational Risk Junior Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Support the Operational Risk team in maintaining updated risk and control records, assisting in assessments, reports, and routines, and contributing to the consistent execution of the company’s risk framework. The role helps strengthen the internal control environment and supports business areas in managing operational risks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Maintain and organize databases related to risk events, losses, controls, and key indicators.


• Support the execution and documentation of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) sessions.


• Assist in preparing internal and regulatory reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.


• Help monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and support the follow-up of risk exposures.


• Contribute to control testing routines and action plan tracking.


• Help with process and control mapping using BPMN standards and tools such as Microsoft Visio.


• Assist in organizing activities and documentation for the Business Continuity Program.


• Support third-party risk assessments by gathering information and keeping records updated.


• Collaborate on the review and versioning of policies and internal risk-related procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Business, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields.


• Previous internship or entry-level experience in risk, audit, compliance, or finance (desirable).


• Fluency in Portuguese and English.


• Training or certification in Lean Six Sigma (White, Yellow, or Green Belt) is a plus.


• Basic understanding of risk management or internal contrOL


• Basic knowledge of Python or Power BI (desirable).


• Familiarity with business process mapping (BPMN) and tools like Microsoft Visio (desirable).

LOCATION: São Paulo/SP, Hybrid (Up to twice a week at the Vila Olimpia office)
