This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Back-End .NET - Sênior based in Brazil.
This is a senior back-end development role focused on supporting and evolving critical .NET applications in a high-availability financial environment. You will combine hands-on development with production support, incident investigation, debugging, and continuous improvement. The role involves building and maintaining APIs, microservices, integrations, and cloud-based solutions while ensuring application reliability and performance. You will work extensively with observability, monitoring, messaging, containers, and modern deployment practices. Collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders will be essential to understand requirements and resolve complex issues efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to contribute across the full application lifecycle, from development and deployment through monitoring, support, and architectural improvements.
Accountabilities:
- Provide technical support and production sustainment for .NET applications, ensuring system availability, reliability, and continuity.
- Monitor applications and messaging infrastructure, analyzing logs, queues, metrics, and system behavior to identify and resolve incidents.
- Perform technical troubleshooting, debugging, and incident triage to diagnose failures and minimize business impact.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements across application code, architecture, monitoring, performance, and reliability.
- Support business and technical teams in requirements analysis and clarification of functional and technical questions.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve APIs, microservices, and integrations using .NET and related technologies.
- Implement and maintain application observability through APM tools, centralized logging, metrics, and monitoring practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the complete application lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to investigate complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to technical decisions and improvements that strengthen the resilience, maintainability, and scalability of critical applications.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience with .NET and C#, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience with microservices architectures and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or similar solutions.
- Experience with application monitoring, log analysis, and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Kibana, or equivalent tools.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with unit testing, TDD practices, and Design Patterns.
- Experience integrating and supporting cloud-based applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, Git, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
- Effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proactive, accountable, results-oriented approach with strong ownership and resilience when handling critical demands.
- Good organization, attention to detail, self-management, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Knowledge of financial markets and banking operations is a plus.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, GraphQL, SonarQube, or other code-quality tools is desirable.
- Previous experience supporting critical, high-availability systems is an advantage.
- Intermediate English or Spanish is desirable.
