In this strategic role, you will shape and guide the technology vision for complex, large-scale clients in the financial services industry, acting as a key bridge between business strategy and architectural execution. You will define long-term technology roadmaps, drive modernization initiatives, and influence critical decisions across cloud, data, integrations, and enterprise applications. The role requires strong executive presence, as you will engage directly with CTOs, Heads of Technology, and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions. You will also play a central role in identifying architectural risks, reducing technical debt, and enabling digital transformation at scale. Working in a highly collaborative and consulting-driven environment, you will support both pre-sales and delivery teams, ensuring consistency and excellence across initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to shape enterprise architectures that directly impact the evolution of mission-critical financial systems.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for defining and evolving enterprise architecture strategies for financial sector clients, ensuring alignment between technology roadmaps and business objectives. You will act as a senior technical authority, guiding stakeholders and internal teams through complex transformation journeys while promoting best practices and architectural consistency.
- Define long-term architectural vision and technology roadmaps for enterprise financial clients
- Translate business strategies into scalable, secure, and modern technology solutions
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, and opportunities for modernization
- Lead discussions with executive stakeholders including CTOs, CIOs, and enterprise architects
- Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and strategic advisory meetings
- Support pre-sales activities, contributing to technical proposals and solution design
- Collaborate with hyperscalers and strategic partners on architecture decisions
- Guide internal teams on architectural standards, governance, and best practices
- Perform architectural reviews to ensure consistency across initiatives
Requirements
You should bring strong experience in enterprise architecture within complex and regulated environments, particularly in financial services. A consultative mindset, combined with deep technical expertise in cloud, data, and modern architectures, is essential to succeed in this role.
- Proven experience as Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent senior architecture role
- Strong background in large-scale, complex enterprise environments
- Experience in financial services (banking, insurance, fintech, payments, or capital markets)
- Expertise in cloud architecture, application modernization, data platforms, and integration strategies
- Ability to engage with both technical and executive-level stakeholders
- Strong consulting and communication skills with proven stakeholder influence
- Experience defining technology roadmaps and enterprise transformation strategies
- (Differentials) Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- (Differentials) Knowledge of AI, analytics, and data architecture
- (Differentials) Experience in pre-sales or business development support
- (Differentials) MBA or postgraduate studies in relevant technical fields
