This remote role offers the opportunity to shape the user experience of a complex SaaS platform used by enterprise and government clients. You will turn research insights into elegant, accessible designs that solve real-world challenges, while ensuring visual and functional consistency across the product. The position combines hands-on design work, prototyping, usability testing, and design system maintenance with cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with business goals. This role allows for creative problem solving, continuous process improvement, and the ability to directly impact how users interact with the platform. It is ideal for a designer who thrives in a collaborative, innovative, and remote-first environment.
Accountabilities
- Design user-centered solutions for web applications that meet both business objectives and user needs
- Develop UX elements, including flow diagrams, personas, and experience maps, to guide design decisions
- Create interactive wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to explore and present design options
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback from users and internal teams
- Maintain visual consistency and enhance the UI library and design system for scalable product design
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and technical feasibility
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and processes to increase team efficiency
- Integrate AI-powered design tools where appropriate to streamline workflows and enhance innovation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Design, UI, or UX, ideally in B2B SaaS environments
- Proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, and other UX platforms
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and leading usability testing sessions
- Familiarity with software development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and front-end workflows
- Strong commitment to accessibility (a11y) and inclusive design principles
- Excellent critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Initiative, ownership, and accountability in managing projects and navigating challenges
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English for diverse audiences
- Interest in emerging AI technologies and the ability to leverage AI tools in design workflows
