Accountabilities:
The role is responsible for defining and advancing quality engineering practices across complex software environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design end-to-end quality strategies and establish long-term technical guidelines for software reliability across projects.
- Build, validate, and evolve advanced automation frameworks and testing accelerators from the ground up.
- Research, adopt, and govern new technologies, including AI-based solutions such as LLMs and autonomous agents to optimize testing processes.
- Develop and maintain quality gates, test observability practices, and automated CI/CD testing pipelines.
- Influence software architecture decisions to ensure systems are testable, resilient, and designed for high reliability.
- Mentor and support other quality engineers, promoting technical growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work closely with enterprise clients and technical stakeholders, translating quality metrics into business value and actionable insights.
- Define, monitor, and improve quality indicators while creating clear analytical testing reports.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced quality professional with strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders in complex environments.
- Advanced English communication skills for collaboration on international projects.
- Proven experience with software testing processes, including planning, test design, execution, and quality validation.
- Strong knowledge of testing strategies and quality assurance practices for complex and highly reliable systems.
- Experience testing web, mobile, and API applications using modern quality engineering approaches.
- Hands-on experience applying AI tools to software testing, including test data generation, automation script creation or optimization, and process improvement.
- Experience defining and tracking quality metrics, dashboards, and analytical testing reports.
- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Experience mentoring quality engineers and supporting technical development within teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with corporate clients and technical leadership.
- Experience creating and customizing test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Robot Framework is a plus.
- Experience with Shopify is considered an additional advantage.
