Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI-based solutions to optimize real-time refinery and chemical plant operations.
• Configure custom models using a proprietary platform to solve process constraints and unlock operational improvements.
• Collaborate with client-side teams including engineers and operators to ensure successful solution integration and continued value delivery.
• Provide technical support and training to clients both remotely and occasionally on-site across the region.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, acting as a key technical advisor and subject matter expert.

• Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–10+ years in refinery or petrochemical operations, advanced process control (APC), or process engineering.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of operations such as FCC, hydrocracking, hydrotreating, reforming, and ethylene cracking.
• Tools & Systems: Familiarity with APC, DMC, RTO, DCS, historian systems (e.g., PI), and process simulation/modeling tools is a strong plus.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Mindset: Technically curious, solution-oriented, and passionate about applying innovative technologies to industrial challenges.
