Accountabilities:
As a Senior Integration & Business Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automation solutions and integrations that help customers improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement technical solutions, and ensure reliable system performance.
- Deliver business process automation and integration solutions that meet customer requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that increase reliability and productivity.
- Design, configure, and maintain workflows, forms, and integrations using technologies such as REST APIs, HTTP services, and SOAP/XML.
- Develop and maintain backend components using PHP and Laravel while applying strong software engineering principles.
- Implement API authentication methods, including API keys, OAuth, and tokens, while managing JSON and XML data transformations.
- Troubleshoot integration, workflow, and backend issues to minimize customer impact and maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with technical leads, project managers, and customers to refine requirements and deliver successful implementations.
- Document integration architectures, workflows, technical decisions, and operational processes clearly.
- Provide recommendations for product and process improvements based on customer feedback and real-world usage.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong background in backend development, system integrations, and business process automation, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (completed or in progress).
- Professional experience in backend software development using PHP, with Laravel experience preferred.
- Experience building and consuming web service integrations, including REST APIs and SOAP/XML services.
- Strong understanding of API design principles, integration patterns, error handling, retries, and edge-case management.
- Experience using Git for version control and collaborating through platforms such as GitHub.
- Ability to translate customer and business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with Business Process Automation (BPA) concepts and BPMN-based workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Nice to have: experience with Vue.js, frontend libraries such as Axios, webhooks, asynchronous processing, background jobs, SFTP/file-based integrations, or third-party SaaS integrations such as CRM, ERP, or DMS platforms.
