Accountabilities:
- Develop and enhance backend and frontend services supporting a connected medical device platform.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Translate product requirements into effective technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Implement cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure software systems meet operational, security, and compliance requirements.
- Work with technologies including Python, Flask, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, improving system stability, performance, and user experience.
- Establish and promote best practices for software development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and code quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure, development processes, and production environments.
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded systems, and machine learning teams to support product evolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a software engineer with strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with PostgreSQL or similar relational database systems.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and cloud technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience building, scaling, and maintaining production-grade software environments.
- Strong understanding of system monitoring, alerting, reporting, metrics tracking, and software reliability practices.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on builder mindset focused on delivering impactful solutions.
- Strong product-oriented approach with attention to user experience and customer needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Experience with embedded software development, Linux-based IoT systems, hardware interfaces, or medical devices is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer vision models, machine learning workflows, model deployment, or optimization for healthcare applications is considered an advantage.
