We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive the development and implementation of advanced AI and Data Science solutions. This role bridges business strategy with technical execution, ensuring that machine learning models are scalable, accurate, and deliver tangible value. You will define system architectures, guide the selection of algorithms and frameworks, and provide hands-on leadership on critical technical challenges. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring developers, and maintaining data governance and quality standards. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers who enjoy balancing research innovation with pragmatic software engineering. Your work will directly influence the company’s ability to leverage AI for smarter decision-making and enhanced customer experiences.
Accountabilities:
- Define the architecture of machine learning and AI systems, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Maintain data quality and governance across multiple projects and environments.
- Guide the team in selecting the most appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and technologies for business needs.
- Provide hands-on support on critical AI challenges, implementing and optimizing models.
- Ensure AI solutions translate into real business value while balancing research innovation with software engineering best practices.
- Mentor team members and foster technical growth within the AI and Data Science squads.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
- Master’s or PhD with a focus on AI is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Pandas.
- Experience with data engineering and MLOps tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, MLflow, Kubeflow, and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics to validate model performance and mitigate bias.
- Experience leading technical teams and providing strategic guidance on AI/ML projects.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions.
