This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP CPI Developer based in Brazil.
You will join a specialized, fully remote engineering engagement supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative within a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on designing and delivering robust SAP CPI integration flows that enable reliable migration and synchronization of critical Plant Maintenance data. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in an Agile setup to define integration logic, build secure data pipelines, and ensure end-to-end traceability across systems. This is a highly technical, hands-on position where precision, reliability, and deep SAP integration expertise are essential. You will contribute to a short-term but high-impact project involving mission-critical enterprise data flows. The environment is fast-paced, structured in sprints, and requires strong collaboration and documentation discipline.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for designing, building, and documenting SAP CPI integration flows that ensure secure, auditable, and high-quality data exchange between enterprise systems as part of a structured migration initiative.
- Design and build SAP CPI iFlows from scratch, including HTTPS inbound integrations.
- Co-design and implement XSD schemas in collaboration with client stakeholders.
- Configure SAP Gateway integrations, including OData V2 Deep Insert (CREATE_DEEP_ENTITY) scenarios.
- Implement robust error handling mechanisms, including dead-letter queues, exception subprocesses, and alerting strategies.
- Develop secure data exchange processes using SFTP or cloud storage (e.g., Google Cloud Storage).
- Ensure proper payload validation, security policies, and data integrity across integrations.
- Maintain correlation IDs and end-to-end traceability across CPI-to-SAP communication flows.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, including runbooks and interface specifications.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), including validation of deep insert processing and transactional integrity.
Requirements:
You should bring strong hands-on SAP CPI experience with deep expertise in integration design, OData services, and enterprise-grade SAP connectivity.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Proven experience implementing OData V2 Deep Insert (CREATE_DEEP_ENTITY) in CPI (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of HTTPS inbound adapters, payload validation, and security configurations.
- Experience with XML/XSD mapping (Graphical Mapping or XSLT) and schema validation in CPI.
- Solid experience integrating SAP Gateway services using OAuth2 or Basic Authentication.
- Strong understanding of error handling patterns in CPI (MPL logs, retry mechanisms, alerts).
- Ability to document integration flows clearly in professional written English.
- Experience working in Agile environments and delivering within structured sprint cycles.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and system reliability.
Nice to have:
- Experience with SFTP adapter and controlled file exchange workflows.
- Familiarity with CPI monitoring, correlation IDs, and log analysis.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA integration via Cloud Connector or direct APIs.
- Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
- CPI tenant administration experience.
