This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Scrum Master based in Brazil.
This role is focused on driving agile excellence across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that delivery processes are efficient, transparent, and continuously improving. You will act as a key facilitator of agile practices, helping teams maximize performance while fostering collaboration, accountability, and self-organization. The position involves working closely with product and technical teams to optimize workflows, remove impediments, and strengthen delivery governance. You will also play an important role in monitoring agile metrics and ensuring best practices are consistently applied across tools and ceremonies. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role where you will influence both team dynamics and organizational agility at scale. It is ideal for professionals passionate about continuous improvement, structured delivery, and agile transformation in complex environments.
Accountabilities:
- Facilitate and support agile ceremonies (daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives), ensuring alignment and effective execution across teams.
- Identify and remove impediments that impact team delivery, ensuring smooth and predictable workflow execution.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and clarity of work items.
- Monitor agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and lead time, providing insights to support continuous improvement.
- Audit and ensure proper use of agile tools (especially Jira), identifying deviations from best practices and driving corrections.
- Promote and strengthen agile culture across teams, encouraging collaboration, transparency, and self-organization.
- Propose and implement improvements in processes, tools, and delivery practices to enhance efficiency and governance.
- Support organizational initiatives related to agile transformation and scaling frameworks such as SAFe and Lean.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of agile frameworks, including Scrum, SAFe, and Lean.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, including configuration, usage, and auditing of best practices.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing delivery processes.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor metrics and translate data into actionable improvements.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic and complex environments.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience with scaled agile transformations and governance practices is a plus.
