Accountabilities:
- Design enterprise data warehouse architectures and scalable data models that support strategic business objectives.
- Define data integration strategies across multiple source systems, including relational databases, APIs, and streaming platforms.
- Create comprehensive architecture documentation, technical specifications, and solution design guidelines to support implementation teams.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure architectural standards are effectively translated into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for new data initiatives, guiding architecture decisions and recommending appropriate technologies.
- Develop proof of concepts to evaluate new tools, platforms, and architectural approaches before broader adoption.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs while ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategies.
- Support the evolution of modern data platforms by applying best practices in architecture, modeling, integration, and governance.
- Act as a strategic technical partner for stakeholders by providing expertise on data solutions and long-term technology direction.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in enterprise data architecture, including the design and implementation of enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Proven expertise in dimensional data modeling and designing scalable data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience working with Kafka and streaming data architectures.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and enterprise cloud environments.
- Experience designing enterprise data integration solutions involving relational databases, APIs, and streaming technologies.
- Ability to create clear technical architecture documentation and communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Experience translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Hands-on development experience to build proof of concepts and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex enterprise challenges.
- Experience working in high-volume enterprise environments processing large amounts of data is preferred.
- Knowledge of Data Vault modeling and enterprise ETL/ELT platforms is considered an advantage.
