Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.\n\n## This role in summary\n\nWe are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering team at Whirlpool Corporation in Manaus. This role leads strategic engineering projects focused on product and process innovation, efficiency, and quality, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver technical solutions that improve manufacturing performance and product development.\n\n## Your responsibilities will include \n\n * Lead the development and implementation of engineering projects, focusing on product innovation and performance;\n * Act as a technical reference, supporting multidisciplinary teams with specialized engineering expertise;\n * Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems, proposing effective and sustainable solutions;\n * Coordinate testing, validation, and technical evaluations of new components, products, and processes;\n * Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety standards;\n * Support the definition of technology roadmaps and continuous improvement strategies;\n * Collaborate with suppliers, external partners, and global teams to align technical solutions and strategic.\n\n\n\n## Minimum requirements\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering with active CREA license and fluent English;\n * Proven experience in Industrial Engineering and NPI/EPI projects, including process improvement, productivity, automation, and new product industrialization;\n * Strong technical and project management skills, with cross-functional coordination and experience in engineering tools and data analysis software (SAP, MES, CAD, Power BI, Minitab, etc).\n\n\n\n## Preferred skills and experiences\n\n * Experience with Agile project management methodologies;\n * Knowledge or experience in Industry 4.0 technologies and digital manufacturing;\n * Business acumen with strong communication and negotiation skills;\n * Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS);\n * Additional certifications or technical training in project management, quality, or digital manufacturing.\n\n\n\n## What we offer\n\n * Discount on products through Compra Certa;\n * Wellhub;\n * Employee Support Program, providing 24-hour assistance with legal, social, financial, social workers, and psychologists;\n * Daycare assistance or Nursery at the company;\n * Benefits such as consigned or social loans, health plan, dental plan, life insurance, and private pension plans competitive with the market;\n * Services available on-site: cafeteria and internal bank branch;\n * Shuttle buses or Free parking at the company;\n * Meals on-site;\n * After 5 years with the company, eligible employees can take four weeks of paid leave;\n * Extended maternity/paternity leave.\n * Learn more at https://www.whirlpoolcareers.com/trabalhe-conosco-no-brasil/\n\n\n\n## Additional information\n\nThis position is located at Manaus, largest city of the North region of Brazil, where is located one of the most important economical engines of the country.
