Senior Legal Director Americas

Position: Sr. Legal Director Americas Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil Job Type: Hybrid Level: C43 The Senior Legal Director, Americas will serve as the primary legal advisor for the Animal Nutrition & Health operations in North and Latin America, providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your Key Responsabilities: Team Leadership: Manage and develop a Legal Counsel and Paralegal, promoting efficiency, collaboration, and legal excellence. Legal Advisory: Provide proactive legal support on commercial, corporate, employment, and litigation matters across the Americas. Identify and mitigate legal risks, including oversight of litigation and dispute resolution strategies. Draft, review, and negotiate strategic agreements with suppliers, customers, and distributors. Support governance initiatives, entity management, and board-related matters. Work closely with senior leadership to align legal strategy with business objectives." Experience leading the Legal area across the Americas or Latin Americas, gained in multinational companies. Strong knowledge of commercial law, employment law, corporate governance, and cross-border transactions. Strategic thinking, negotiation, leadership, risk assessment and excellent communication. English required; Spanish is highly desirable.
