This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant | SAP S/4HANA based in Brazil.
This role is focused on driving end-to-end data migration initiatives within complex SAP transformation programs, especially ECC to S/4HANA conversions. You will play a key role in ensuring that enterprise data is accurate, consistent, and properly structured throughout the entire migration lifecycle. The environment is highly technical and collaborative, involving close interaction with functional, technical, and business stakeholders. You will contribute to critical phases such as data extraction, transformation, validation, and post-load reconciliation. The role requires strong expertise in SAP data tools and a solid understanding of large-scale enterprise data ecosystems. You will also support testing cycles, cutover activities, and go-live readiness in global projects. This is a hands-on consulting position with high visibility and direct impact on transformation success.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end data migration activities in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all data domains.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SAP BODS / SAP Data Services to support structured and scalable data movement.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation activities across multiple business objects and systems.
- Support data quality and cleansing initiatives to ensure consistency, completeness, and reliability of migrated data.
- Conduct post-load reconciliation, consistency checks, and issue resolution to guarantee data accuracy in target systems.
- Participate in testing phases including integration testing, UAT, mock cutovers, and go-live execution support.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to align data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Automate migration routines and contribute to continuous improvement of data migration frameworks and processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SAP data migration projects, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data structures and migration approaches.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BODS / SAP Data Services for ETL development and execution.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing, validation, and automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data validation methodologies, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience working with master data objects and data governance principles.
- Advanced English proficiency for working in international and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Nice to have: experience with Syniti, SAP Migration Cockpit, Salesforce data migration, and cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
