Descrição do Emprego - (Senior) Scientist - LNP Formulation Expert (m/f/d)

Develop and optimize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for the delivery of nucleic acids (DNA, and DNA nanostructures).
Design and perform experiments to improve LNP encapsulation efficiency, stability, and payload integrity, including analytical methods (e.g. DLS, zeta potential, RiboGreen assay).
Integrate bioconjugation strategies (e.g., lipid-/DNA-antibody, -peptide, -polymer conjugates) for targeted delivery applications, including purification and analytical methods (e.g., FPLC, HPLC, LC-MS, gel electrophoresis).
Troubleshoot formulation and analytical challenges and contribute innovative solutions to advance R&D projects.
Coordinate with internal and external partners to support project progress and knowledge exchange.
Document experimental procedures and results, and present findings to internal stakeholders and external collaborators.

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
Practical experience in LNP formulation and characterization, ideally with nucleic acid payloads.
Solid knowledge of analytical techniques such as DLS, zeta potential, HPLC, LC-MS, and gel electrophoresis.
Experience with bioconjugation methods (antibodies, DNA, peptides, or polymers) is a strong plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
A valid work permit for Germany.
