The Role: Senior Software Engineer 

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for coding, testing, and implementing solutions for Accruent’s Platform. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be critical in developing robust and scalable shared services using .NET (C#) and React (when applicable), along with related technologies. Your primary focus will be designing and implementing backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our applications' high performance and responsiveness. This role requires a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a passion for technology and creative problem solving, capable of working on all tiers of the application following Agile methodologies. How You'll Make a Difference

• Design and implement reusable and efficient backend services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to backend and front-end development.
• Collaborate with the QA team to perform code reviews and ensure high code quality and software reliability.
• Develop user-friendly web applications using React.js and related frameworks, libraries, and tools.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and regular team meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment.

What You Bring To The Table

• Fluent/Advanced English skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Experience as a professional software developer.
• Solid understanding and experience with Test Driven Development.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on modern design patterns.
• Experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and the latest MS Visual Studio tools.
• Experience with React and related frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Redux, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Experience with RDBMS products like Oracle or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication in English and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum) is preferred.

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with identity and access management tools like Okta.
• Experience with API Management (APIM) solutions.
• Knowledge of Spacelift for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with AI and Prompt Engineering.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot.
