About the Client

The American memorabilia manufacturer is primarily known for producing yearbooks and class rings for high schools and colleges. The company also produced photobook products for Disney’s PhotoPass photography service at theme parks and resorts. In addition to its headquarters near Minneapolis and operational offices in Owatonna, Minnesota, the customer has facilities throughout the United States.

What You’ll Do

• Standardize and maintain data layer implementation across all e-commerce platforms


• Configure, manage, and optimize GA4 properties, data streams, and enhanced e-commerce tracking


• Audit and validate data collection regularly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency


• Debug and resolve tracking issues using GA Debugger, Tag Assistant, and DataLayer Inspector


• Collaborate with marketing and product teams on UTM standards, campaign measurement, and reporting needs


• Implement and manage Google Tag Manager containers, triggers, and variables with version control


• Create and configure custom events, dimensions, and metrics to support business KPIs


• Integrate GA with APIs, BI tools such as Tableau, and e-commerce platforms


• Ensure GDPR, CCPA, and cookie consent compliance within GA and GTM


• Stay current with GA4 and tag management best practices, recommending improvements proactively

What You Bring

• Strong expertise in GA4 architecture, event model, and enhanced e-commerce setup


• Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, JavaScript, HTML, and dataLayer customization


• Experience with cross-domain tracking, server-side tagging, and debugging tools


• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, marketing, and product teams


• Familiarity with SQL and querying data from BigQuery


• Experience with APIs for data extraction, reporting, and automation


• Knowledge of privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and cookie consent management tools


• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail


• Availability to work and attend meetings until 11 AM CST

Nice to have

• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Broadleaf Commerce, Shopify)


• Background in A/B testing integrations (Google Optimize, Optimizely)


• Experience in multi-channel attribution modeling and funnel analysis


• Exposure to additional BI or visualization tools
