This role focuses on providing advanced technical expertise to support customer engagements and drive successful solution adoption in the telecommunications sector.
The professional will act as a key bridge between sales, customers, and internal product teams, helping design solutions aligned with complex business needs.
You will contribute to technical demonstrations, solution proposals, and strategic account development across the LATAM region.
The position requires strong knowledge of network architectures, mobility solutions, and service assurance technologies.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while supporting customers through innovative connectivity and performance solutions.

Accountabilities:
The Solutions Engineer will serve as a technical leader supporting sales initiatives and customer relationships, ensuring that solutions are effectively positioned, demonstrated, and aligned with customer requirements. The role requires strong collaboration skills, technical expertise, and the ability to translate business challenges into effective technology solutions.
- Act as the primary technical resource supporting the sales team and driving the execution of account strategies.
- Partner with customers to understand technical requirements, challenges, and business objectives.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions for strategic accounts.
- Prepare and coordinate responses to customer technical requirements, feature requests, and RFP/RFx processes.
- Serve as a connection point between product management, engineering teams, sales, and customers.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure internal alignment, timely escalations, and consistent communication.
- Support the positioning and adoption of advanced mobility assurance solutions.
- Provide technical guidance throughout customer engagements, from discovery to solution validation.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and market trends to support continuous solution improvement.
- Travel approximately 25% domestically and regionally to support customer interactions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in telecommunications, technical consulting, or pre-sales engineering roles, with strong expertise in network technologies and customer-facing solution development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with telecom vendors in pre-sales, technical consulting, implementation, or deployment roles.
- Alternatively, 8+ years of experience in IP and/or telecommunications service providers in senior network or service engineering positions.
- Proven experience working with major regional wireless carriers.
- Strong knowledge of RAN and Core network architectures, including 3G, LTE, 5G NSA, and 5G SA.
- Deep understanding of communication protocols such as IP, SS7, LTE/EPC, VoLTE, VoIP, SNMP, and signaling protocols across network environments.
- Experience with network monitoring deployments and service assurance solutions.
- Professional fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or advanced business qualification.
- Experience with Service Assurance, OSS, Customer Experience, Network Performance, Optimization, or Analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of SDN and NFV technologies.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with Python or other scripting/programming languages.
- Understanding of OSS industry standards and frameworks such as TM Forum (TMF) and ITIL.
- Experience with software development practices and agile methodologies.
