Solutions Engineer

China Mobile International Limited is looking for a skilled Solutions Engineer based in São Paulo, Brazil to lead the design and implementation of advanced network solutions and software development for the LATAM region.

Job Responsibilities:

This role involves a strong focus on software development, integrating robust network infrastructure solutions such as Internet Access, IP Transit, MPLS VPN, EVPN, and SD-WAN. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in advancing our Network as a Service (NaaS) offerings, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement in both software and network domains. Detailed responsibilities may include:

• Design and develop software applications that integrate with network operations, enhancing the automation, monitoring, and management capabilities of our network infrastructure.
• Design and implement complex network solutions tailored to the LATAM market, ensuring optimal operation and scalability of Internet Access, IP Transit, MPLS VPN, EVPN, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Implement and maintain API integrations with network hardware and management platforms, supporting the automation of network processes and services.
• Monitor network performance, manage capacity planning, and optimize operations to support organizational growth and changes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in network engineering to continuously improve network infrastructure and services.

Job Requirements:

This role should have a strong technical background, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail requirements may include:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, network, information system, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably within the software industry or at an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
• Robust set of technical skills in programming languages like Python, Ruby and Go. A deep understanding of network technologies like TCP/IP and BGP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, alongside exceptional teamwork, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented, team-player.
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certificate preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
