As a member of a cross-functional team, you ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the Mondelēz International Quality Compliance Agenda.
How you will contribute
You will compile regional quality KPIs and create periodic reports and ensure that plant employees are meeting the quality food safety compliance agenda, including taking corrective actions and undergoing continuous improvement activities. To drive continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing plants and business processes, you will be actively involved in selected quality food safety programs and initiatives. You will support the implementation of quality and food safety systems to ensure compliance with the Mondelēz International Quality Chain Management System (QCMS), policies (QPs) and HACCP standards. In addition, you will attend and contribute at quality food safety related communities of practices, providing technical support and input; offer expertise in the delivery of I2M projects according to regional requirements; share best practices among different manufacturing sites, and; participate in product and process design development by providing quality input to deliver on growth and productivity targets.

What you need to know about this function:
· Responsible for approval process for raw material suppliers within designated region (LA) & global packaging supplier approval
· Work closely with various departments (Supplier Quality, Procurement, etc.) to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Approval and disapproval process
- Ensure new suppliers have followed outlined process for on-boarding and approval, including tracking on-boarding turnaround time.
- Determine types of approval (SQE, Focused SQE, TV from SQ or MFS) required by collecting and evaluating information needed to determine ingredient classification, material tier, and site maturity.
-Own and manage the approval steps of the process for new suppliers, assuring communication and agreement between the key stakeholders.
-Organize projects meetings between involving functions, assure timely communication of identified risks.
-Coordinate the distribution of Disapproval bulletins as required based on audit results: inform required Stakeholders as well coordinate needed actions.
Compliance review:
- Ensure suppliers adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate Supplier Location specifications in PLM, including Tier, Approval Scope and Supplier information.
- Maintain GFSI data and supplier certificates within scope of work
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Regional Supplier Quality, Auditing Team and other internal stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement process improvement and best practices to enhance supplier approval efficiency and effectiveness.
Training and Development:
- Provide training to various departments (Supplier Quality, Procurement, Auditing.) on audit approval requirements and support continuous improvement efforts

Audit Coordination: - Experience in coordinating supplier audits, including scheduling, logistical planning, and ensuring the availability of all necessary resources. Supplier Relationship Management: - Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure audits are conducted effectively and in accordance with standards. Quality Assurance: - Understanding of quality assurance processes and standards relevant to supplier audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. Continuous Improvement: - Implementing and promoting continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings to enhance supplier performance and compliance.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Science (BS), Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge/ Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills/ multilingual abilities to effectively interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
4. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, procurement, and legal departments.
6. Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Proficient in manage Supplier Locations Specifications in PLM.
8. - Conducting training sessions requirements and standards to improve overall compliance and quality
Working Conditions:
· Based in regional office (LA)
· Requires travel (<10%) within the LA region as needed
