Job Description

Data Entry and Maintenance

Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining master data records across various systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.

Validate and verify data before it is entered into the system.

2. Data Quality Assurance

Monitor data quality and perform regular data cleansing activities.

Identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors, and take corrective action or escalate as needed.

Support audits of master data for compliance with organizational standards.

3. Process Improvement

Learn and understand existing master data management processes and workflows.

Assist in identifying inefficiencies or gaps and propose improvements to enhance data management processes.

Participate in the implementation of process automation tools where applicable.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with various departments (finance, sales, procurement, IT) to gather data requirements and ensure data alignment.

Support communication between data owners and data users to facilitate smooth data governance.

5. Reporting and Documentation

Generate and analyze reports related to master data for management review.

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines related to master data handling.

Assist in preparing training materials for end-users on data management best practices.

6. Compliance and Governance

Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards.

Support initiatives related to data security and confidentiality.

Help enforce regulatory compliance related to master data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).

7. Learning and Development

Undergo training sessions on master data management tools and methodologies.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management.

Work under the guidance of senior MDM specialists to build domain expertise.
