Performance marketing is one of the top priorities at Canva right now. We are moving away from a centralized model in Sydney to a specialized local team.
The "puzzle" you are solving is taking over the technical ownership of our main creative channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) for the Brazil market.
This role sits at the intersection of Growth Marketing, Creative, and Data; Translating insights into action and scaling what works through continuous testing, iteration, and experimentation.
You’ll play a critical role in driving user acquisition and revenue across multiple markets, ensuring we’re investing where impact is strongest.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage a big team. It's for a Senior Individual Contributor who wants to get under the hood of our campaigns, optimize spend in real-time, and bridge the gap between raw data and creative strategy.
You will be a founding member of our Brazil team, helping to build the structures we'll use for years to come.

What you'll do
Own day-to-day media buying, optimization, and pacing across channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) across the full funnel.
Launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns to drive user acquisition, revenue, and overall efficiencies, with clear ownership over prioritization and trade-offs.
Actively manage creative rotation: scale top-performing assets, pause low performers, and proactively flag refresh needs.
Translate performance data into clear creative insights, sharing learnings with Creative and Growth teams.
Partner closely with Creative teams to inform hooks, formats, messaging, and testing priorities based on market insights and research.
Evaluate audience segmentation, targeting, and bidding strategies, proposing improvements and experiments.
Collaborate with Growth Marketing Managers to plan and execute A/B tests, incrementality tests, and new channel approaches.
Work with regional Growth leads to calibrate spend across countries, channels, and buying objectives using tools such as MMM and lift studies.
Partner with landing page teams to prioritize and launch CRO experiments.
Share trends, insights, and best practices across markets and with global teams.
You're probably a fit if you have:
Proven hands-on experience in media buying and budget management across major platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
Strong optimization mindset and confidence making data-driven decisions.
Proven experience collaborating with creative teams to improve performance through structured testing and iteration.
Cross-channel growth mindset — able to evaluate trade-offs, dynamically shift investment, and prioritize incremental impact.
Familiarity with MMM, lift studies, and incrementality testing.
Experience with creative testing frameworks or sprint-based experimentation.
Fluent English for collaboration with global stakeholders.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a remote, multi-market environment.
Experience using AI tools to accelerate workflows and improve output quality.
Team & Reporting
You will report directly to our LATAM Performance Marketing Lead. You’ll be part of a tight regional squad that includes growth managers and a dedicated LATAM creative team.
