Sr. Software Developer Backend

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer Backend with Strong English Skills (level B2-C1), Solid experience in software development with Java, AWS, Spark, and availability to work in hybrid mode in Sao Paulo (Morumbi).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.


• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.


• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices for new projects.


• Contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices within the team.


• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency and provide constructive feedback to team members.


• Collaborate with Project Managers and other Stakeholders to ensure project success.

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.


• 8+ years' experience in backend development with strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles and JAVA.


• 2+ years’ experience with Scala is required.


• 4+ years' experience in AWS RDS services (Aurora/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.


• 4+ years' experience with AWS and Cloud deployment.


• 2+ years' experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Circle CI and AWS CDK).


• 2+ years’ experience in Data Engineering (Spark is required).


• 1+ years’ experience with Business Rule Management System (Drools is a nice to have).


• Understanding of implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.


• Excellent communication, and work in a team environment to collaborate with other Developers, Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Infrastructure teams.
