GET TO KNOW OUR AREA: 

The Tax Operations organization is focused on the efficient and effective execution of standard tax activities supporting our Consumer Health, Pharmaceuticals, and Crop Science businesses. The team supports all operations in Brazil by performing activities such as standardized tax reporting, data quality reviews, tax analyses, reconciliations, and tax calculations, ensuring compliance with global Tax policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: YOUR MISSION WILL BE: 

• Perform monthly ICMS and IPI tax calculations to support the accounting closing process of Bayer entities in Brazil. 

• Prepare and review indirect tax statutory filings and ancillary obligations, including SPED Fiscal, GIA, GIA-ST, and related reports. 

• Reconcile ICMS and IPI tax accounts, including accumulated tax credits and related reserves. 

• Generate data, reports, and accounting support documentation for balance sheet and tax variance analysis. 

• Review tax books and ledgers, including purchase, sales, and tax calculation records. 

• Prepare tax payment forms and execute tax payments through banking platforms. 

• Support internal and external tax audits by providing documentation, analyses, and clarifications. 

• Prepare cumulative tax credit reports and supporting documentation. 

• Develop and maintain tax-related accounting reconciliations. 

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational excellence initiatives. 

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION? 

Mandatory 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Economics, or related fields. 

• Experience in Finance and/or Tax. 

• Solid experience with Brazilian indirect taxes, especially ICMS and IPI. 

• Previous experience working with SAP. 

• Advanced Excel skills. 

• Advanced English proficiency. 

• Residence in São Paulo State (SP) and availability to work from the office at least twice a week. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Tax One. 

• Experience working in shared services, multinational environments, or tax operations centers. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Continuous improvement and stakeholder management mindset.
