We are looking for a highly experienced mobile engineering leader to drive the modernization and evolution of a complex application ecosystem.
This role will lead the technical reconstruction of a mobile platform using React Native, establishing scalable architecture, coding standards, and deployment practices.

Accountabilities:
The Tech Lead React Native will be responsible for defining the technical direction of the mobile application, guiding engineering practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of a scalable and high-performance platform. The role combines hands-on development, architectural leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead the technical reconstruction of the mobile application using React Native, defining architecture principles, development standards, and implementation strategies.
- Design scalable application structures that support multiple teams working efficiently on the same platform through approaches such as modular architecture, monorepos, or feature-based organization.
- Establish best practices for code quality, performance optimization, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Guide the migration from legacy native technologies while ensuring business continuity and minimizing operational risks.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate technical decisions into business impact, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Support the integration between React Native and native mobile technologies, ensuring compatibility with existing solutions and security requirements.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing processes, and mobile application release workflows for App Store and Google Play environments.
- Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and coaching to elevate the engineering team’s capabilities.
- Promote secure mobile development practices, including data protection, authentication mechanisms, and application hardening strategies.
- Help establish a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a senior mobile engineer with strong React Native expertise, experience leading complex technical initiatives, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Deep expertise in React Native, including the latest architecture concepts such as Fabric and TurboModules.
- Strong experience with state management solutions such as Zustand, Redux, or Context API, as well as advanced React Native hooks and performance optimization techniques.
- Proven experience designing scalable mobile architectures for large applications, including modularization strategies and multi-team development environments.
- Solid understanding of native mobile development concepts, including the ability to read and understand Swift/Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android) code.
- Experience creating or integrating bridges between React Native and native modules.
- Practical knowledge of mobile security practices, including Keychain/Keystore, SSL Pinning, biometric authentication, code obfuscation, and Root/Jailbreak detection.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Previous experience with mobile application migrations, major refactoring projects, or technology transitions in production environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, and production-grade development processes.
- Experience working with financial applications, fintech platforms, payment solutions, or regulated environments is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in terms of business value, risks, and priorities.
- Pragmatic mindset with strong decision-making skills and the ability to balance technical excellence with delivery needs.
- Leadership profile with experience mentoring developers and conducting constructive technical reviews.
- Ability to collaborate diplomatically with existing teams during technology transitions and organizational changes.
