This role is designed for a QA professional who wants to actively shape product quality from the very beginning of the development lifecycle.
You will be embedded in agile squads, contributing not only through testing but also by influencing requirements and acceptance criteria.
The position emphasizes a shift-left quality mindset, ensuring defects are prevented rather than only detected at the end.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in a highly collaborative DevOps-oriented environment.
Automation, exploratory testing, and continuous improvement are central to the daily routine of this role.

Accountabilities:
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives), ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development cycle.
- Contribute to a shift-left quality approach by identifying risks early and supporting clear, testable acceptance criteria during requirement definition.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated API tests to ensure stability and reliability of services.
- Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing, ensuring comprehensive validation of features across different scenarios.
- Report, track, and manage defects with clarity and prioritization, ensuring efficient resolution and visibility for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and overall quality practices.
Requirements
- Experience in software quality assurance with solid understanding of testing fundamentals and agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Hands-on experience with automated API testing, preferably using Rest Assured and Kotlin or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of BDD practices and tools such as Gherkin and Cucumber.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or equivalents.
- Ability to analyze requirements and proactively identify risks and edge cases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test execution within automated delivery workflows (nice to have).
- Exposure to E2E testing, frontend automation, performance or non-functional testing (nice to have).
- Strong communication skills, with a collaborative, proactive, and organized mindset.
- English communication skills (written and spoken) are considered a plus.
