Description of the Position
To support its development and the execution of its strong pipeline, the firm is currently looking for a VIE Junior Analyst to join our office in Brazil.
The Role: Junior Analyst (M&A)
The VIE Junior Analyst will work with our senior team across different countries. He/she will be involved in a portfolio of transactions in Latin America, with a primary focus on Brazil and Colombia.
The VIE Junior Analyst will be a key and integral part of our multicultural team, conducting the analysis of a wide variety of deal opportunities across different geographies, with determinant involvement throughout all stages of the M&A process.
The Junior Analyst will be responsible for:
(i) Analyzing companies’ financial statements
(ii) Preparing transaction related supporting materials and analyses
(iii) Taking an active role in transaction execution by preparing project related materials (CIM, Teaser, Management Presentation, Pitch Book, List of Potential Investors, etc) and coordinating diligence and presentations to various stakeholders
(iv) Preparing proposals and presentations for clients and prospects
(v) Executing detailed tasks required in all phases of M&A transactions
Required skills
- Proficiency in Portuguese, English, along with French (Spanish is a plus).
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a quick learning ability and adaptability.
- Excellent analytical and summarizing skills, with solid technical knowledge in finance.
- Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of rigor.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Commitment to confidentiality regarding sensitive transactions
Required Profile:
- Strong academic record from a leading business school, engineering school, or top-tier university.
- Previous successful experience in M&A, preferably from a top tier investment bank, a leading PE fund or a Transaction Services firm
- Preference will be given to candidates with: familiarity with Latin America.
