About the Company
Our client is a China-based IoT and telecommunications solutions provider with a global footprint. The company designs, manufactures and operates connectivity solutions including cellular modules, IoT devices, and messaging platforms, working closely with telecom operators worldwide to enable SMS A2P, Voice and IoT connectivity.

As part of its expansion in LATAM, the company is creating its first commercial role in Brazil, focused on building and strengthening relationships with local telecom operators.

Role Overview
This is a commercial, operator-facing role, focused on wholesale telecom and carrier relationships.
The position is not technical and not end-customer sales.

The successful candidate will act as the local commercial interface between Brazilian telecom operators and the company’s global teams, supporting market development, carrier negotiations and long-term partnerships.This is a newly created position, offering growth potential as the LATAM operation expands.

Key Responsibilities
    •    Build and maintain commercial relationships with telecom operators in Brazil
    •    Support and participate in operator-to-operator negotiations, including:
    •    Wholesale Voice
    •    A2P SMS
    •    Interconnect agreements
    •    Identify market opportunities, pricing trends and cost-optimization opportunities
    •    Coordinate with internal teams and report directly to a China-based Director
    •    Act as the local market representative, providing insights on competition, pricing and regulatory dynamics
    •    Support the development of long-term carrier partnerships across Brazil (and potentially LATAM)

Required Experience & Profile
    •    2+ years of experience in the telecom wholesale / carrier environment
    •    Background in one or more of the following areas:
    •    Wholesale telecom
    •    Carrier Relations
    •    Interconnect
    •    Voice or A2P SMS
    •    Experience working directly with telecom operators (operator-to-operator), not only with end customers
    •    Strong commercial and negotiation skills
    •    Fluent English for daily communication with international teams
    •    Comfortable working in a new role with high autonomy

Nice to Have
    •    Experience with A2P SMS platforms or messaging services
    •    Exposure to international wholesale markets
    •    Chinese (not mandatory, but a plus)
