BI Analyst

Our Global Retail Experience team is looking for a BI Analyst with experience in data analysis, reporting and data visualization. We are looking for someone who is passionate about analytics and data, and inquisitive and resourceful when supporting business, retail and marketing programs. Working with significant leeway and autonomy, your sense of initiative and innovation will lead you to develop performance indicators, dashboards and tools to better understand digital performance, in-store experience and the omnichannel retail journey.

As a BI Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to elevating BRP’s global retail experience by leading performance tracking, reporting and data visualization for the function.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Measure and analyze the performance of in-store and online retail environments to deliver data-driven insights to help Retail Experience and supporting functions optimize plans and programs
• Conduct in-depth analysis to extract actionable insights and identify opportunities
• Synthesize complex data into clear and concise reports and presentation for stakeholders
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs using PowerBi
• Proficient in querying SQL databases to retrieve required data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support
• Work on data related marketing and retail environment initiatives
• Gather and document business requirements
• Conduct QA testing on new data integration

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: 

• 3  years of relevant experience, preferably in a data analysis role
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (analytics, engineering, marketing etc)
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel and SQL. Knime/DataIku (asset)
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes and possess excellent technical skills
• Experience developing dashboards and KPIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (French an asset)
