As a Business Intelligence Coordinator for the BASES Forecasting team, you will be guiding analysts through the development of sales forecast estimates for our clients while working as a trusted advisor to NIQ clients, supporting their input development for the research and consulting on how to optimize sales and investments based on the launch potential.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with internal teams and clients to understand client’s business objectives and strategies for initiatives tested
  • Guides analysts on the development of the analysis, checking numbers, criticizing results and delivering consultative insights to drive innovation success
  • Acts as the expert for clients, resolving issues and driving technical dialogue, driving expertise of forecasting services, tools and metrics. Trains clients on methodology, explains the inputs needed from them, presents and discusses results
  • Helps troubleshoot analytics/quality and other misc. issues throughout project life-cycle, leveraging analytical excellence and knowing when a senior point of view is needed to drive client relationships
  • Indirect management of junior analysts, reviewing their work and providing feedback on a study-by-study basis
  • Takes on opportunities to contribute to the broader organization through task forces and special projects.
  • Develops and maintains internal best practices for deliverables, questionnaire standards, study designs, etc.

Qualifications

  • A Graduate degree holder in any disciplines
  • Relevant experience in Consumer Research, Market research, or Marketing in a relevant industry
  • Strong ability to execute a variety of complex projects and logical thinking
  • Ability to effectively coach and develop a team of junior associates
  • Detail orientation and strong organization skills
  • Team-oriented mindset, with ability to manage conflicting interests
  • Ability to communicate and write effectively in English
  • Ability to engage in client relationships and navigate difficult conversations
